TeCluster

Terms of Service

Effective from the app's first release · Draft

DRAFT — This is a draft prepared ahead of release. It will be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

The Korean version of this policy is the authoritative text. In case of any discrepancy, the Korean version prevails.

1. Purpose and scope

  1. These terms set out the conditions for using the mobile app TeCluster ("the App") provided by CGFlow ("the Company"), and the rights and obligations of both parties.
  2. They apply only to the App and are separate from the terms of the cgflow.kr platform.

2. What the service does

  1. The App provides an instrument cluster display and navigation for Tesla drivers.
  2. Speed and drive power are calculated from the satellite positioning (GPS) signal on your device.
  3. Navigation uses map and route data from the service you select — Kakao Mobility or Apple.
  4. If you connect a Tesla account, the App also shows battery, range, temperature, odometer, gear and charging state, and the destination of guidance started in the car.

3. Plans

  1. Free: cluster display and navigation. Vehicle data and guidance started in the car are read only over a direct Bluetooth link between the device and the vehicle, never through our server.
  2. Connected: using vehicle telemetry (Tesla Fleet API), the App additionally sends destinations to the car (guidance starts after you tap Start on the car's screen; the App cannot end the car's guidance), runs after-blow, shows battery and sleep state away from the car, shows turn signals and delivers alerts.
  3. The Free plan is offered on the App Store in the Republic of Korea. In other countries the App is used with a paid subscription after a 14-day free trial.
  4. The exact scope of each plan follows the description in the App and on the App Store.

4. No account needed

  1. The App does not create an account of its own. Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account, and your car is identified by the VIN you enter. You may at any time use Settings → This device → Delete my data to remove the car registration together with the vehicle data held on the server.

5. Subscriptions and payment

  1. Paid plans are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions through the App Store.
  2. Price and billing period are those shown on the App Store at the time of purchase.
  3. Payment is handled by Apple. The Company does not hold your payment details.
  4. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

6. Cancellation and refunds

  1. Cancel in iOS under Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  2. After cancelling you keep paid features until the period you already paid for ends.
  3. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policy. The Company cannot refund an App Store purchase directly.
  4. Nothing in this section limits the withdrawal or other rights that applicable law gives you.

7. Use while driving

  1. The App is a reference aid and does not replace the driver's duty of care.
  2. Actual road conditions, traffic signs and traffic law always take precedence over what the App shows.
  3. Do not operate the screen while driving. If you need to, stop somewhere safe first.
  4. The App does not replace the vehicle's own instruments. For safety-related information, rely on the vehicle's own display.

8. Limits of the information shown

  1. The speed reading is derived from satellite positioning and carries an offset applied to match the vehicle's own speedometer. It therefore has no legal or administrative standing and must not be used to judge whether a speed limit was exceeded.
  2. In tunnels, underground car parks and other places without satellite reception, speed may be missing or inaccurate.
  3. Speed-limit alerts come from enforcement-point data supplied by the map service and do not cover every road.
  4. Routes and arrival times come from the map service and may differ from actual conditions.
  5. Vehicle data is the last value the car transmitted, not a live reading. Values that are too old are not displayed.

9. Third-party services

  1. The App is not an official Tesla app, and the Company is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by Tesla, Inc.
  2. Vehicle integration depends on the interface Tesla provides, so parts or all of it may be limited or discontinued without notice if Tesla changes its policies, pricing or technology.
  3. Maps and guidance are provided by Kakao Mobility or Apple, and each provider's own terms also apply.
  4. The Company is not liable for consequences of a third-party service failing or erring, absent intent or negligence on its part.

10. Your obligations

  1. Connect an account only for a vehicle you are entitled to use.
  2. Do not reverse-engineer the App, circumvent payment for paid features, or place an unreasonable load on the service.
  3. If a breach of this section causes the Company loss, the Company may restrict use and claim damages.

11. Changes and interruptions

  1. The Company may change, add or discontinue features in order to improve the service.
  2. Material changes that disadvantage paid users are announced in the App or by email 30 days before they take effect.
  3. Service may be suspended without prior notice for reasons beyond control — natural disaster, network failure, a third-party outage — in which case notice is given promptly afterwards.

12. Limitation of liability

  1. The App is provided as is; the Company does not warrant fitness for a particular purpose or the completeness of the information shown.
  2. Absent intent or negligence on the Company's part, the Company is not liable for traffic offences, accidents, or loss of time, fuel or electricity arising from reliance on what the App displays.
  3. Where the Company is liable, that liability is capped at the subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
  4. Nothing in this section limits consumer rights granted by applicable law.

13. Governing law and disputes

  1. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. The parties will seek to resolve any dispute in good faith; failing that, jurisdiction follows the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
  3. For enquiries, write to contact@cgflow.kr.

Supplementary

  1. These terms take effect on the App's first release date.
  2. Changes are announced in the App and on this page seven days before they take effect, or 30 days where the change disadvantages users.
